Kate Kearns is a New York City-based actor and producer. She seeks projects that expand her creative horizons and skills, and allow her to be a part of bringing unique stories to life.

Kate's fascination with acting began at a young age; her first production was an elementary school club’s production of Peter Pan, in which she played a pirate. From these humble beginnings, her passion for acting has only snowballed into an immense love and respect for the craft, with roots in musical theater and drama on stage.

Once enrolled at New York University, an entirely new world of art and expression was revealed to her as she began acting in films directed by students in the Film & TV program. Eventually accruing roles in over 20 short films, there was no turning back in Kate’s mind: this is what she had to do. Since then, she has continued to hone her craft and take on other roles in the film production world, including unit production managing and line producing.

Having graduated from NYU in the spring of 2023 with a B.S. in Neural Science, she is ecstatic to fully dedicate herself to the industry and continue to work with brilliant teams of artists. Kate has spent her time since continuing to work on films as an actor and a producer.

More generally, Kate lives in Brooklyn, works at a grocery store, and has recently picked up rock climbing. She loves to laugh and build IKEA furniture.
